Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 5 July 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the CutRoom website, make a booking, purchase a walk-in service or join a CutRoom membership.

CutRoom is operated by CutRoom Ltd, trading as CutRoom, of 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. You can contact us at Contact@cutroom.co.uk.

1. Our services

CutRoom provides barbering and grooming services, including membership-based services and individual appointments.

Service availability, appointment lengths, membership benefits and prices are shown on our website or booking platform. We may update our services from time to time. If we make a material change to an active membership, we will give reasonable notice.

2. Bookings

All appointments are subject to availability.

Members may hold one upcoming booking at a time unless we confirm otherwise. Once an appointment has been completed, cancelled or rescheduled, another appointment can be made.

Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten or rearrange the appointment to avoid affecting other customers.

We may refuse or end a service where this is reasonably necessary for health, safety, hygiene, abusive behaviour, suspected fraud or repeated misuse of the booking system.

3. Memberships and payments

Memberships are billed monthly in advance using the payment method held with Square.

Your membership renews automatically each month unless you cancel it before the next payment is processed.

You must keep your payment details up to date. If a payment fails, we may retry the payment and may suspend membership booking access until the account is brought up to date.

Membership prices are shown when you join. If we need to change a price, we will give at least 30 days’ notice before the new price takes effect. You may cancel before the increase takes effect.

4. Membership use and fair use

Memberships are personal to the named member and cannot be transferred, shared, resold or used to book appointments for another person.

“Unlimited” means reasonable personal use of the included services to maintain your grooming routine, subject to availability, appointment rules and the membership benefits shown at the time of joining.

We may investigate or suspend a membership where there is repeated misuse, including booking multiple appointments unnecessarily, repeated no-shows, abusive conduct, attempted sharing of membership access or fraudulent activity.

5. Cancellations and no-shows

You may cancel or reschedule an appointment through the booking system or by contacting us.

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice before your appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a late cancellation charge of £5.

Missed appointments without notice may incur a no-show charge of £5.

We may waive a charge in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in temporary booking restrictions, membership suspension or cancellation.

6. Cancelling a membership

You may cancel your membership at any time using the cancellation option provided through Square, or by emailing Contact@cutroom.co.uk.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Your membership remains active until the end of the paid billing period unless we confirm otherwise.

We do not normally refund unused time within an active monthly billing period. This does not affect any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have.

7. Cooling-off rights for online memberships

If you join online, by phone or away from our premises, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract.

By booking or using services during this period, you request that CutRoom begins providing the service immediately. If you cancel during the cooling-off period after receiving services, we may make a proportionate deduction for services already supplied, where permitted by law.

8. Health, skin and service information

Please tell your barber before your appointment if you have allergies, skin conditions, scalp conditions, sensitivities, injuries or any other information relevant to your service.

We may decline or adapt a service where we reasonably believe it could be unsafe or unsuitable.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to this, CutRoom is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of income, loss of opportunity or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us at Contact@cutroom.co.uk as soon as possible. We will aim to investigate and respond fairly.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
